Post Middle
School student serves as page for Rep. Pearson
Tia K. Butler, an eighth-grade student at Post Middle School, Arlington,
recently served as a page in the House of Representatives. She was
sponsored by
Rep.
Kirk Pearson, R-Monroe.
As a page, Tia’s duties included delivering messages and bills to
lawmakers’ offices and to the House floor. Pages also spend a week in
the Legislative Page School learning about state government.
Tia is the 14-year-old daughter of Ernie and Vicki Butler, Arlington.
