Thanks for
visiting my Web site. It’s an honor to be your state representative and
work in Olympia for the issues that matter the most to Everett, Lake
Stevens, Marysville, Mill Creek, Snohomish and all the neighborhoods in
between.
Education is an
important issue to our communities, and I will fight to make sure the
state provides students with what they need in the classroom to succeed
in the future. Education is the paramount duty of the state according to
our state’s constitution, and it should be funded first.
We need to take
a hard look at the budgeting process here in Olympia. The priorities of
government are not being used to fund what’s important and leave out
what is not. Restructuring our government will allow us to look for more
opportunities for economic growth and stability.
As a Seattle police
officer, I deal with tragic circumstances all too often. I see the
patterns of criminals and know how important it is for people to feel
safe on their own streets. We need to make sure people are held
accountable for their actions and that victims are put first.
