Hinkle and Warnick
available in Cle Elum, Ellensburg to talk about state issues
Kittitas County residents encouraged to stop by for a chat

Residents of Kittitas County who wish to meet with their state legislators can visit Thursday, Oct. 8 for Kittitas County district office hours. Reps. Bill Hinkle, R-Cle Elum, and Judy Warnick, R-Moses Lake, will be available to talk with constituents.

"I've met with a lot of folks since session ended," Hinkle said.  "It's been great to hear what's on people's minds.  Health care reform, property taxes, public safety, the state budget -- these are all issues that are important to our future, issues that our citizens care a great deal about."

"The Legislature is starting some planning for the 2010 session, and nothing is more important to forming my agenda than speaking with constituents," Warnick said. "I hope people will stop by and talk with me about how they would like to see the state answer our current challenges."

Hinkle and Warnick will be at the Cottage Cafe in Cle Elum from 10 a.m. to noon. The restaurant is located at 911 East First Street. Citizens can also join her at the Kittitas County Courthouse auditorium in Ellensburg, 205 West 5th Avenue, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. Hinkle can be reached at (360) 786-7808 or hinkle.bill@leg.wa.gov and Warnick can contacted at (509) 766-6505 or warnick.judith@leg.wa.gov.
