Kittitas County constituents
invited to meet with representatives in Cle Elum, Ellensburg next week
Reps.
Bill Hinkle
and Judy
Warnick will be holding their monthly district office hours
in Cle Elum and Ellensburg Thursday, Aug. 13.
They will be available in Cle Elum at the Cottage Cafe
from 10 a.m. to noon. The building is located at 911 East First Street.
Warnick
will meet citizens at the Kittitas County Courthouse auditorium in
Ellensburg, 205 West 5th Avenue, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
"With everything that has happened in the last few weeks
with the exempt wells in upper Kittitas County, I am sure constituents
have many questions," said Hinkle, R-Cle Elum. "Stories
from citizens help us remind the agency who they are working for and
that it must respond to your concerns."
No appointment is needed to meet with the legislators,
and citizens are encouraged to stop by with their questions or concerns
about any state issue.
"It's important that we hear from constituents about the
emergency rule adopted by the Department of Ecology," said
Warnick, R-Moses Lake. "We want citizens to feel like they have
a voice in this issue."
Warnick
