Hinkle lauded as outstanding
legislator with two awards
Rep.
Bill Hinkle was presented this year with the Washington State
Potato Commission’s Outstanding Legislator Award and the Washington
Association Council of Police and Sheriffs (WACOPS) Legislator of the
Year Award.
“I’m honored to receive these awards,” said Hinkle, R-Cle Elum. “I’ve
been a strong supporter of legislation for each of these groups. It’s
great to be recognized by these important groups.”
The Potato Commission recognizes one Democrat and one Republican House
member each year with this award. The award recognizes a legislator for
their dedicated support and assistance on issues that impact the state
potato industry.
WACOPS also recognizes one legislator from each caucus every year.
