Herrera to hold tele-town
hall meeting Tuesday, May 13
18th District residents can talk to their new
state representative from home
New 18th District
State
Representative Jaime Herrera is inviting residents of her
district to participate in a tele-town hall meeting Tuesday, May 13,
at 7 p.m.
Citizens can call in and
participate from their homes by dialing 1-866-447-5149 and
entering PIN number 13470. The call begins just before 7 p.m. and
will last an hour.
"My job is to listen to people here. This technology allows people to
share their thoughts from the comfort of their own homes or businesses,"
said Herrera, R-Ridgefield. "I encourage everyone to call in,
participate and ask any questions they’d like. I will hear directly what
is on people's minds."
The format allows
Herrera to listen to residents, answer questions and discuss various
issues. Residents can listen in, ask questions and even give feedback as
a group.
"In February I took part
in a tele-town hall meeting with our other two local legislators and it
was amazing," said Herrera. "People can participate in any way
they choose – so please join us on May 13."
If residents have
questions, Herrera can be contacted at (360) 786-7850 or
herrera.jaime@leg.wa.gov.
