Rep. Haler changes
date of Prosser 'coffee'
in order to attend Rep. Steve Hailey's funeral
Rep.
Larry Haler, R-Richland, has announced a change to his scheduled
8th District "coffee" in Prosser due to the death of colleague and
friend, Rep. Steve Hailey.
"Representative Hailey served his constituents and the state with grace
and honor," Haler said. "He was a gentleman, through and through.
I know my constituents will understand my desire to pay my respects to
Steve and his family by attending his memorial service."
In the past, Haler has held "coffees" at various
locations around the district. Continuing the tradition, he is
encouraging citizens to take the opportunity to visit with him to share
ideas on district priorities and solutions to issues impacting Eastern
Washington communities.
Haler's previously scheduled "coffee" in Richland on Jan. 3
remains the same. The Prosser "coffee" on Jan. 3 has been
changed to Jan. 17. The time and location for the Prosser event
remain the same.
The new information for Rep. Haler's 8th District "coffees" is as
