Haler cleared by Legislative
Ethics Board
Complaint
against Richland lawmaker dismissed
The
Legislative Ethics
Board has filed an order of dismissal, finding that no reasonable
cause exists to believe that Rep.
Larry Haler violated the state Ethics Act. After the
announcement was made today, Haler issued the following statement:
“I’m satisfied with the
Legislative Ethics Board decision and believe it is appropriate. It’s
now time to put the matter behind us. My primary focus has always been,
and remains the important job of representing the hard-working families
in the 8th Legislative District.”
