Ericksen to participate on
health care panel Oct. 26
Lead House Republican on health care to share
solutions on college campus
Rep.
Doug Ericksen, lead Republican on the House Health Care and
Wellness Committee, will participate in a health care panel Monday,
Oct. 26. Details of the event are below:
Panel on health care policy and nursing as workforce development
Noon to 1:30 p.m. Skagit Valley College 2405 East College Way
Campus Center in Building C, Room C Mount Vernon
Ericksen, R-Ferndale, just concluded
health care
solutions events around the state in Bellingham,
Richland, Yakima, Bellevue, Burlington, and Spokane. He highlighted
solutions, including: allowing for
tailored health care plans that
meet the needs and budgets of
young adults ages 19 to 34;
the purchasing of health care plans approved in
other states;
new health
care
choices for small employers; reforming the state's
Basic Health Plan;
and comprehensive
medical malpractice reform.
