Ericksen to speak at grand
opening of SR 543,
heath care forum next week
State Rep. Doug Ericksen,
R-Ferndale, will speak at two community events next week.
Wednesday, December 5, Ericksen will speak at the grand opening of State
Route 543. The event will take place atop the “D” Street Overpass in
Blaine from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with Ericksen speaking around
11:45 a.m.
Friday, December 7, Ericksen will attend a Whatcom Alliance for
Healthcare Access at St. Luke’s Health Education Center (Squalicum
Parkway) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. He will give an update on state
health care policy issues around 12:15 p.m.
Ericksen has served the 42nd Legislative District since 1999. He has
held numerous leadership positions in the Washington State House of
Representatives and currently serves in the number two Republican
position as Deputy Leader.
