Ericksen on local Georgia-Pacific facility
“I am disappointed to
learn Georgia-Pacific will be closing its local facility. My thoughts
and prayers go out to the families affected by this decision. I know
Georgia-Pacific is committed to helping and I will work with the company
to ensure the best possible transition for impacted workers. It is
important our community comes together and that workers are able to
explore options at our local technical college, community college, and
four-year university. I am optimistic our local economy will respond and
offer new opportunities to impacted workers.”
