42nd District legislators to hold town hall meeting March 18

Rep. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, and Sen. Dale Brandland, R-Bellingham, are inviting 42nd District residents to attend a town hall meeting Friday, March 18 at the Lynden Community Center. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Rep. Kelli Linville will unfortunately not be able to participate due to personal matters.
Citizens will be able to hear about the Guide Meridian Road project, the state’s drought and an update on the 2005 legislative session that is just past its midway point in Olympia.

The legislators are encouraging citizens to bring their questions, comments and concerns about legislation, state government and local issues affecting the district.

“We’re looking forward to hearing from constituents about the Guide Meridian Road project, our drought and other important issues of the district,” said Ericksen. “We know there are a lot of concerns and good ideas out there and we appreciate the opportunity to listen to them.”

The meeting day, time and location are as follows:

Friday, March 18
4:30 p.m.
Lynden Community Center - 401 Grover Street
