House Republicans to travel
state on listening tour
House Republicans will be
traveling around the state on a listening tour beginning Thursday,
October 6, in Renton. The six town hall style meetings will not have any
formal format and will instead focus on the public’s concerns and ideas.
“This listening tour is exactly that – listening to and reaching out to
people. We’re looking forward to hearing from people from all parts of
the state,” said House Republican Leader
Richard DeBolt, R-Chehalis. “So
often we have people come visit us in district or in Olympia during
session. This is a way to reciprocate those efforts and meet with people
in their own areas.”
The listening tour will
visit Renton, Burlington/Mt. Vernon, Ridgefield/Vancouver, Yakima,
Spokane, and the Tri-Cities (Pasco). Below are the dates, times and
