Biography
Rep. Cary Condotta, serving his fourth
term as a 12th District representative, represents the central
Washington counties of Chelan and Douglas as well as parts of Grant
and Okanogan counties.
He is the Ranking member on the Commerce & Labor Committee and also
serves on the Finance and Health Care Committees.
Cary holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Science
in business from Central Washington University. Self-employed for
more than 25 years, Cary and his wife, Rebecca, own a local business
in Wenatchee. He is also a talk radio host on KPQ and has been on
the air with regional news and views for the last five years.
Cary founded the political action group “Return to America” and has
been involved in various political campaigns and initiative drives,
which he believes are critical for allowing voters a say in how
their state and government is run.
Cary was awarded the 2007 Business
Star Award by the statewide business roundtable, United for
Washington, for his work in the Legislature to improve the
state's business climate and encourage business growth. He also
received the 2007 "Legislator of the Year" award from the
Washington State Farm Bureau for his work on land use and
property rights issues before the Legislature.
A native Washingtonian, he makes his home in East Wenatchee with his
wife and daughter, Mery. |
