Bailey hosts 10th District 'Coffee Talks'
to hear public input
Oak Harbor lawmaker wants citizens' comments on
local and state issues
Got time for a little
coffee break?
Rep.
Barbara Bailey wants to hear from you!
Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, is hosting "Coffee Talks" at cafés and coffee shops throughout the 10th District to meet with local
citizens for discussions of legislative issues.
"As a state
representative, it’s really important for me to hear from the citizens I
serve. What better way to do it than over a cup of coffee or other
refreshments at our local cafés? It’s a great opportunity for me
to meet with people face-to-face and hear what matters most to them,"
said Bailey. "I’d like to invite our local citizens to bring their
ideas, comments, questions and suggestions about state government, all
of which will be very helpful as I begin planning for the upcoming 2008
legislative session in January."
