Skagit County businesspeople display local products at Legislative Trade Fair

Skagit County was well represented at the "Made in Washington" Legislative Trade Fair in the state Capitol rotunda Monday. Products they displayed ranged from farm products, wine, and even boat tours of Deception Pass.

The trade fair was organized by Republicans and Democrats in the House of Representatives to showcase Washington-made products to lawmakers and to help them understand the role local businesses have in shaping the state's economy. The event was held during the first day of the 2007 legislative session.

Rep. Barbara Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, hosted the 10th District table and met with local businessmen and women who attended from Skagit County.
