Bailey receives coveted
business award
The Association of
Washington Business recently presented
Rep. Barbara Bailey
with its 2005
Cornerstone Award in recognition of her efforts to support the business
community.
The award is given to
legislators who voted in support of the business community more than 80
percent of the time and who believe in competitiveness, economic growth
and job creation, according to AWB President Don Brunell. Bailey, R-Oak
Harbor, received a 100 percent pro-business voting score from AWB.
