Thank you for visiting my legislative Web page. This is where you will
find the most current information on legislation and issues I am working
on for our district and the state.
In January, I toured our
district to survey the flooding and damage to our communities. My heart
goes out to everyone who suffered loss, their families and the entire
communities affected. I witnessed acts of kindness and heroism by many
folks, which is a hallmark of our district.
Together we are rebuilding and strengthening families and neighborhoods,
despite the economic challenges facing our district. As the leader on
emergency preparedness issues, be assured I will continue to focus on flood mitigation and timely response for protection of life and
property.
While the 2009 session ended April 26, I welcome your calls and e-mails.
I am also happy to meet with you or groups to discuss issues of interest
or to give a legislative update.
Please contact my district office if I can be of any assistance to you and to
give me your views on the topics most important to you and our communities.
It is an honor to serve as your state representative for the 39th
District, the most beautiful part of Western Washington.
