Ross to host teleforum with constituents Wednesday, April 8

Rep. Charles Ross will host a town hall over the phone with his constituents Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. The 14th District legislator hosted a teleforum last year and said he had great involvement and feedback from using the "teleforum" technology.

Just last week, the House and Senate budget proposals were introduced. Today, Rep. Ross voted on the House operating budget in the Ways and Means Committee.

"There's a lot happening here in Olympia, but I remain focused on the needs and requests of my constituents," Ross said. "Since the Legislature convened, thousands of people have lost their jobs. I'm fighting for a sustainable budget that does not put further burden on the citizens in my district by increasing their taxes."

The hour-long call will focus on legislative updates and live questions from callers.

"It's important for me to connect with everyone at home, listen to their concerns and answer their questions," said Ross. "I'm hoping constituents will again be engaged in discussing state issues with their community."

To participate, callers should call toll-free
1-877-229-8493 and then enter pin number 13548.
