Ericksen to participate in Western Washington University
health care forum

House Republican lead on health care to share ideas
with Students for Civic Engagement, attendees   

Making good on a promise to the Students for Civic Engagement, Rep. Doug Ericksen will participate in the group's health care forum on the campus of Western Washington University on Friday, May 15. The public is invited to attend.

The 42nd District lawmaker, who is lead Republican on the House Health Care and Wellness Committee, will share his solutions for a better Washington and take questions from the audience. Expected topics include: the state of health care in Washington state and Whatcom County; ways to improve the current system; and students and health.

The purpose of the Students for Civic Engagement is to promote political awareness and activism, through a forum that is non-partisan and focused on individual discourse.
