Ericksen to be featured speaker at NFIB health care forum Wednesday
42nd District state representative to provide solutions for a better Washington

Rep. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, will lead a National Federation of Independent Business health care forum at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Sen. Karen Keiser will join the 42nd District lawmaker in an open discussion in the Columbia Room at the Washington State Capitol.

"There are two very different approaches to health care in Olympia, and I look forward to sharing solutions for a better Washington that differ from the status quo," said Ericksen, ranking Republican on the House Health Care and Wellness Committee. "If our state can break down barriers to patient-centered care and market competition, it can reduce costs and increase access to health care. To do this, our state must depart from business as usual, bring the groups central to the success of its health care system together and commit to solving its problems."
