East Wenatchee
teen pages for Rep. Armstrong Megan Quick, a sophomore at Eastmont High School in East Wenatchee, recently served as a page in the House of Representatives. She was sponsored by Rep. Mike Armstrong. Paging presents students with a unique educational opportunity to participate in the legislative process. Their duties vary from ceremonial tasks, such as presenting the flags, to operational chores like distributing amendments during legislative sessions. During her week in Olympia, Megan also attended page school where she learned about the legislative process, including how a bill becomes a law. Megan is the 15-year-old daughter of David and Cirri Quick of East Wenatchee. For more information about the legislative page program, visit: http://www.leg.wa.gov/House/PageInternProgram. # # #
